Packaging and Transportation of Radioactive Materials
JAI has extensive experience in the design and engineering of packaging and transportation systems for all types of radioactive materials.
Transportation of radioactive materials between the various steps in the nuclear fuel cycle represents the connecting link between these operations. Particularly important is the method of packaging these materials to ensure that the radioactive contents are properly protected from accidental release and from damage.
JAI has been involved in the design, evaluation and costing of packaging and transportation methods for radioactive materials since 1970.
